Oakline Studio is seeking an Architectural Technician to complete project drawings for permit submittal on a broad range of our retail and restaurant projects. You will be learning and tutoring under experienced architects to expand your technical and artistic skills. Oakline is a rapidly growing Design Firm that is building off its past 20+ years of experience and we want you to be part of our team!

The candidate we are looking for will:

  • Be someone who enjoys working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • You are organized – you understand how to work with and coordinate consulting partners and many moving parts to deliver a solid, final product.
  • You’re good with people – a strong listener, respectful in your interactions with others and have a positive outlook on life and a good communicator

The position you’ll love:
  • You’ll be working in our dedicated retail and restaurant studio with other professionals dedicated to these project types.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to develop a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
  • You’ll have access to your client on a regular basis.

Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications:
  • Architecture degree from an accredited College or University with a desire to pursue licensure or Architectural technology degree.
  • One to three years of experience in the architecture & design industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
  • Advanced computer skills (AutoCAD, Revit, rendering programs such as SketchUp, Enscape, and programs used to prepare presentation documents such as PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Self-motivation and a desire to learn about all aspects of Architecture.
