Senior Transaction Manager (Commercial Real Estate)

Position Summary:

The Senior Transaction Manager is responsible for providing real estate transaction services on behalf of the client(s) including renewal negotiations, new site identification/selection, LOI negotiation, and assisting with the development of existing and/or new client transaction programs.
Essential Job Duties:

1. (30%) Execution of renewal transactions. This work includes, but is not limited to:
  • Negotiating renewals on behalf of the client;
  • Assisting in setting goals and tracking progress of those goals for the team;
  • Assisting in devising incentive plans/rewards for team to meet established goals; and
  • Assisting in training/mentoring new team members.
 2. (20%) Program development. This work includes, but is not limited to:
  • Assisting in creating playbooks for renewal and new leasing teams to document processes and incorporate into the onboarding/training of new team members;
  • Assisting in collecting data and various other presentation material to be presented to new and existing clients; and
  • Managing or executing special projects as needed.
3. (50%) Execution of new development transactions. This work includes, but is not limited to:
  • Managing and negotiating new and relocation transactions;
  • Traveling to local markets (up to 30%) for evaluation and site selection purposes;
  • Developing and managing strong client relationships;
  • Providing clear and consistent communication to all parties involved in new development transactions;
  • Assisting in setting goals and tracking progress of those goals for the team;
  • Assisting in devising incentive plans/rewards for team to meet established goals; and
  • Assisting in training/mentoring new team members.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The following education, skills and experience are required for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
  • 3 + years of transaction management.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and procedures.
  • Orientation towards strategic vision and planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to travel locally to various work sites in designated multi-state territory (20%);
